Trust Across America is a national initiative developed by Barbara and Jordan Kimmel. Its mission is to rebuild trust in public companies throughout the US, and to provide a forum for companies to share their best practices. National experts in the fields of leadership, accounting, governance, finance, organizational behavior, transparency and sustainability join Jordan every week, Trust Across America will take an in depth look at new methods to measure an individual company’s trustworthiness. By focusing on those companies going beyond what is “required” – and actually “doing the right things”- we will reverse the negativity of the media- and help rebuild trust in business.

The show is hosted by Jordan Kimmel, who is joined weekly by corporate executives from those companies that have been identified as doing the “right thing.” Trust Across America airs live Wednesdays at 9 AM Pacific on VoiceAmerica Variety.

Jordan Kimmel

Jordan Kimmel is the Market Strategist for T3Live.com, an investor education firm based in New York City. Mr. Kimmel most notably developed the MAGNET® Stock Selection Process, a proprietary stock selection model that blends elements of value, growth and momentum. He has released two books on the subject, most recently The Magnet Method of Investing (Wiley, 2009). His first, book, Magnet® Investing, introduced the Magnet model that was licensed and used by prominent institutions.

Prior to joining T3 Live.com., Mr. Kimmel was President of The Magnet Investment Group, LLC. The firm operated independently for over twelve years, managing proprietary funds and serving as a sub-advisor to other prominent investment firms. During that time, the MAGNET® Stock Selection Process was licensed to John Nuveen and Company who issued Unit Investment Trusts, branded “GEMS”, applying the Magnet process to several different indices. Mr. Kimmel has recently developed a second proprietary strategy called FACTS™ that analyzes companies, both quantitatively and qualitatively, in five key areas of trustworthy behavior.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Kimmel was a First Vice President at Dean Witter and an account executive at Paine Webber and A.G. Edwards. A graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Mr. Kimmel holds a BA in Economics and an MS in Urban Policy Sciences. He is also a graduate of The Bronx High School of Science. Mr. Kimmel appears regularly on CNBC and Fox Business News, and hosts his own weekly radio show, “Magnet Investing with Jordan Kimmel,” on the VoiceAmerica Business Network. He hosts a second show on the network titled “Trust Across America™” that discusses the factors needed to restore trust in business. Mr. Kimmel is quoted frequently in national newspapers including The Wall Street Journal and USA Today, and has been featured in Forbes Magazine. He is a widely sought after speaker at financial and investment conferences.
